personae
Created for those who have already attended Cantle Coaching or Dimensions of Leadership, Personae will enrich and develop the psychological and, more specifically, the personality aspects of Cantle’s leadership programmes.
Using insights from developmental psychology, Gestalt, Bioenergetics, and Sub-personalities studies, Personae will help delegates gain more awareness of what goes on in their interactions and relationships.
Delegates will learn how to:
- Identify high and low functioning aspects of their personality so that they can interact more appropriately and powerfully as leaders
- Form more sustainable relationships with a wider range of people resulting in less conflict and successful management of diverse teams
- Develop their character so that they can endure more reality and achieve more of their goals
- Understand and notice their own sub-personalities and the relationship between them resulting in more focussed effort and less internal conflict.
The programme lasts for 3 days, from Monday evening until Thursday afternoon, and is residential. The training takes the form of lectures, exercises and group dialogue.
Location: House of Cantle, Morenish, By Killin, Perthshire, FK21 8TX.

Another great course from Cantle, deepening the understanding of what makes us tick as individuals and the choices we can make to bring the best parts of our personality forward in different situations.
Steve Deighton, Manager, Global Trader Training School, BP IST
Everything about this event from the venue, the staff, the coaches, the other delegates, the food and the spaces Cantle has created to work in are just about perfect. Great chance to get away from the office and take some time to think about how you can make a greater contribution not only as a leader but also in a wider sense – with your friends and family too.
Andy Moat, Director of Organisational Development, B&Q Plc
If you felt that How to Coach a Leader and How to Be a Leader had an impact on you and how you relate to yourself and work with your teams, get ready for Personae to take it to another level. I loved this course. I left with a deep understanding of aspects of myself and others and how these can (and do) play out in business, teams, and my personal life. I think this will make a profound difference on how i will manage teams and myself in the future, in fact it already has.
Jan Slaghekke, Business Unit Leader, BP Alternative Energy International
If you were moved by How to Coach a Leader, then you will be astounded by how far the ground shifts with Personae. Powerfully practical and at the same time very deep psychologically. I came away inspired by the possibilities for future development for both myself and my clients. I’m full of appreciation for the amazing capacity of Cantle to provide such a wonderful space for learning and growth. If there is one thing you prioritise in money conscious times make it this and repay your investment many times over.
Nicky Allen, Director, Know2Change
Personae is so much more than a course, it is a whole experience that has helped me understand and embrace my whole self in all of its diverse parts enabling me to lead more effectively, understanding and accepting, not just myself more, but in particular those that I work with and lead.
