House of Cantle

The House of Cantle is the venue for most of the training programmes, team building events and one-to-one coaching sessions. After a scenic drive from Edinburgh airport through the Trossachs, visitors are welcomed into a two-and-a-half century old lodge house that sits on the side of Tarmachan Ridge overlooking Loch Tay.

Bedroom allocation causes a stir as each room has its own character: there are echoes of Victorian royalty, Ignatian monasticism, African adventure and the magic of Narnia. It usually takes the chef’s best homebakes to tempt guests out of their new dens and back into the public area of the house.

The library, with its rich red walls, open fireplace, baby grand piano and open views of the loch, has become a favourite location for one-to-one coaching, quiet reflection and dialogue sessions.

By night the snug is the room of choice. Exposed stone walls, decorated with ancient Scottish swords and shields, are lit by candles and a roaring open fire. What better way to conclude the day’s learning than with a glass of red wine, the heat of the fire, and a group of relaxed colleagues listening to each other?

The dining room hosts group training and coaching sessions in a comfortable and relaxed environment. A twenty-foot panoramic window overlooks the loch offering a beautiful backdrop to the learning and eating that goes on there.
